Dose Track saves your compounded semaglutide vial strength in mg/mL, shows the syringe units for the dose you log, and counts what is left in the vial. It reminds you on your shot day and tells you when to reorder, based on how long your pharmacy takes.
Compounded semaglutide is not an FDA-approved product, so it has no label of its own. The Ozempic and Wegovy schedules describe the approved pens only. Your prescriber sets your dose and how it changes, and in Dose Track you log the dose your prescriber gave you, weekly on your shot day.
When your dose changes, record the new dose from the date it starts. Because the vial strength stays the same, the units to draw change with each new dose, and the app works that out for you.
Compounded semaglutide usually comes already mixed in a multi-dose vial at a set strength in mg per mL, drawn up with an insulin syringe. Some come as powder you mix yourself. The units you draw depend only on the strength on your vial label, which is why mix-ups happen: the same mg dose is a different number of units in a different vial.
Enter your vial's strength once in Dose Track, or the mg and water if you mixed it, and each dose you log shows its mL and syringe units, with a drawing of the syringe filled to the line.

Each row is something worth writing down for compounded semaglutide, why it matters for this medicine, and what Dose Track does with it.
| What to track | Why it matters | In Dose Track |
|---|---|---|
| Vial strength | Units to draw depend on the mg/mL on your vial, and strengths differ between pharmacies. | Saved with the vial, so every logged dose shows the right units without re-doing the math. |
| Shot day | Semaglutide is given once weekly. | A weekly reminder on your day; a different day asks if it is a one-off or your new day. |
| Dose changes | Your prescriber sets the dose and when it changes; log the dose your prescriber gave you. | Record each new dose from its date; earlier shots keep their amounts and units. |
| What is left in the vial | A multi-dose vial runs out at a different week depending on your dose. | Each dose comes off the vial in use; when it runs short the rest can be drawn from the next vial. Run-out and order-by dates follow. |
| Date opened or mixed | Storage after opening differs by pharmacy; follow the date on your vial label. | Each vial keeps the date you mixed or opened it and an expiry date you set. |
| Syringes and supplies | Each shot uses a syringe and an alcohol wipe. | Track syringes, BAC water and wipes as supplies that count down as you log. |
Dose Track has quick picks for the side effects people on GLP-1 medicines log most: nausea, constipation, diarrhea, reflux or heartburn, tiredness, low appetite, injection-site reaction and headache. You can type in anything else, set how bad it was, and see it next to the dose and the dose step you were on.
There is no label for compounded semaglutide, so there is no official missed-dose rule. Ask your prescriber what to do if a shot is late.
In Dose Track a missed dose stands out in your history, so you can see the gap and count from the right day.
Dose Track is a tracking app, not medical advice. It records what you and your prescriber decide; it does not recommend doses. Check any dose change with your prescriber.
