Wegovy pill tracker: daily tablets and 30-day steps

Semaglutide · daily tablet · Checked

Dose Track gives you a morning reminder for the Wegovy pill, logs each tablet, and counts down the 30 tablets in each bottle so you know when to refill. Each 30-day step is recorded from the day it starts, so you can see how long you were on each strength.

What is the Wegovy pill schedule?

Per the FDA label, the Wegovy pill starts at 1.5 mg once daily for days 1–30, then 4 mg for days 31–60 and 9 mg for days 61–90, reaching 25 mg once-daily maintenance on day 91 (2.3, Table 2). The label's schedule calls for one tablet each morning on an empty stomach with up to 4 ounces of water.

Set the Wegovy pill as a daily medication with a morning reminder. When a new 30-day step starts, record the new strength from that day. Tablets are counted per bottle, so a new strength means adding a new bottle.

What form does Wegovy pill come in?

The Wegovy pill is a tablet in bottles of 30, one strength per bottle. The label has strict rules for taking it, which is why a fixed morning reminder helps: it is taken on an empty stomach with a little water, then nothing else for at least 30 minutes.

Which side effects does the Wegovy pill label list?

The label has no separate adverse-reaction table for the tablet; it states that in the 64-week Study 7 the types and frequency of common adverse reactions with 25 mg tablets were similar to those in Table 3 (the injection table). The figures below are the tablet-specific rates the label reports in 6.1 (tablet safety population N=204; the placebo N for these rates is not stated in 6.1). Section 6.1.

Dose Track has quick picks for the side effects people on GLP-1 medicines log most: nausea, constipation, diarrhea, reflux or heartburn, tiredness, low appetite and headache. You can type in anything else, set how bad it was, and see it next to the dose step you were on.

What if you miss a Wegovy pill dose?

Per the label, a missed Wegovy tablet dose is skipped, and the next dose is taken the following day. The label limits use to one tablet per day (2.1). (2.4)

A daily medication that was not logged shows as missed for that day, so a skipped morning is easy to spot.
