How to enter a promo or referral code

Dose Track for iPhone and Android · Updated

Short answer: Open the Dose Track Pro screen (the PRO? badge at the bottom of Settings) or the upgrade screen, tap the small Have a code? link, type your code and tap Apply code. What happens next depends on your phone.

Before you start: You need a code someone gave you. The link is hidden once you already have Pro.

Steps

  1. Open the Pro screenOpen the Profile tab, scroll to the bottom and tap Settings. At the very bottom, tap the PRO? badge.
  2. Tap Have a code?Under Maybe Later, tap Have a code?. The same link sits under the plans on the upgrade screen.
  3. Enter the codeType it in the CODE box and tap Apply code.
  4. iPhone: confirm in the App StoreThe App Store opens with your code filled in. Confirm it there.
  5. Android: referral codeIf it is a referral code, you see applied and that Annual now starts with a free trial. Tap Choose Annual to subscribe.
  6. Android: other codesOther codes are used at Google Play checkout. Choose Annual, tap the big button below the plans, then in Google Play tap your payment method, then Redeem code. Paste or enter the code and tap Redeem.

If the code does not work

  • Couldn't check the code. On Android, the app checks the code online first. Check your connection and tap Apply code again.
  • On Android, a referral code's 14-day free trial is only for people who have not had Dose Track Pro before. If you have, the app tells you and nothing changes.
  • Already subscribed? The Have a code? link is hidden because there is nothing to redeem.

After a code is used, the link changes to show the code and the date your free time runs until.

Frequently asked questions

Where do I type a Dose Track promo code?+
Tap Have a code? on the Pro screen or the upgrade screen, enter the code and tap Apply code.
Why did the App Store open?+
On iPhone, codes are confirmed by Apple. Dose Track opens the App Store redeem page with your code already filled in.
Why can I not get the referral free trial?+
Google only offers the referral trial to accounts that have not had Dose Track Pro before. If you have, the code does not change anything.
