Short answer: On Home, tap the + on a medication row. The Quick Log sheet opens with your dose and a suggested injection site filled in. Check them and tap Log Dose. To log a dose for another day, or a medication that is not in a protocol, use Add Dose in the Calendar.
Before you start: Add the medication first. See how to add a medication.
Steps
- Tap + on the medicationOn Home, find the medication under its protocol and tap its +. The Quick Log sheet opens.
- Check the doseThe dose from your protocol is filled in. Tap the dose to change it if you took a different amount.
- Pick the injection siteUnder Injection Site, the app shows a SUGGESTED site when site rotation is set up. Tap Choose Site to pick a different spot on the body map. For creams and gels it says Application Site.

- SaveTap Log Dose. If the dose is not on your usual schedule, the app asks whether it is a one-time dose or a schedule change first. See dose schedules.
Logging a dose on another day, or from the Calendar
Tap the Calendar icon at the top right of Home and tap a day. Then tap Add Dose, pick the medication (From Your Protocol or Other Medications), and the same log sheet opens for that day. If the medication is not listed at all, search for it and tap Add "name" as a custom medication.
You can also tap a different day on the Home calendar strip and then tap + on a row. The app tells you which day it is logging for, for example "Logging for Oct 20".
Other buttons on the log sheet
- Skip this dose records a missed dose. You pick a reason: Traveling, Side effects, Forgot or Other. It only shows for medications in a protocol.
- Wasted dose records medication that was lost, for example a spilled draw, and takes it off your vial.
- Delete dose shows when that day already has a logged dose.
One-tap logging
If you always take the same dose, you can skip the sheet. Go to Profile, then Customize home, then Customize medication list, and turn on One-tap logging. Tapping + then saves the dose right away. If that day already has a dose, the app asks Log another dose? first, so a double tap does not log twice.
Blends always open the sheet, even with one-tap logging on, because each compound in the blend needs its own amount.

Can I log a dose I forgot to record yesterday?+
Yes. Tap yesterday on the Home calendar strip and tap + on the medication, or open the Calendar, tap the day, and tap Add Dose.
Does logging a dose update my vial?+
Yes, when the medication has an active vial in your inventory. The amount you log is taken off that vial.
Why does it ask if this is a one-time dose?+
The day you are logging does not match the medication's schedule. You choose whether to keep the schedule as it is or move it to this day.
Can I log a medication that is not in a protocol?+
Yes. Use Add Dose in the Calendar and pick it under Other Medications, or add it as a custom medication from the search.
