Short answer: Open the Tracker tab and tap + Add inventory in the Inventory section. Pick the medication, enter the vial size, and tap Save. Each dose you log takes its amount out of the open vial, so the amount left stays current.
Before you start: Add the medication first. Adding new inventory is a Pro feature; vials you already have stay visible and editable if Pro lapses.
Steps
- Open InventoryGo to the Tracker tab and scroll to Inventory. Tap + Add inventory. Without Pro, this opens the Pro screen first.
- Pick the medication and containerIn Add Inventory, choose the Medication, then the container: Vial, Pill, Gel or Other.
- Enter the amountFor a powder vial, fill in MG per Vial and Quantity. If the vial is already mixed, turn on Reconstituted? and enter Total MG and Total ML. Pills, gels and other items use Units in Container.
- Set the mix dateFor an already mixed vial, set Mixed on (today or earlier). The Expiration Date follows from it unless you change the date yourself.
- Add the optional detailsYou can fill in Bought from, Lot or batch (optional) and notes. Tap Save.
- Mix a sealed vial laterSealed vials sit in the Stock tab. When you mix one, tap Reconstitute on its card and enter the water you added.
- Fix the amount leftTap Details on the vial card, then the pencil button. Change Current Volume (mL) and tap Save.
Active, Stock and History
Inventory has three tabs. Active holds the vials you are using now. Stock holds sealed vials and unopened items waiting their turn. History holds vials you finished or discarded. Pills and other unit items in Stock get an Activate button instead of Reconstitute.
Total ML is the full liquid volume after mixing and never changes. Current Volume is what is left and goes down with every dose. Concentration is Total MG divided by Total ML.
Track supplies too
Below Inventory there is a Supplies section for things like BAC water, syringes and alcohol wipes. Tap Set up supplies (or Set up) to walk through where you buy from, what you use and how you take your injections. Dose Track counts supplies down as you log doses.
Tap See all to open Supplies & refills, with Supplies, Orders and Places tabs. The free plan tracks 2 supplies; Pro tracks more.

Does logging a dose take it out of my vial?+
Yes. A logged dose draws from the active vial of that medication, so the amount left drops. You can correct it any time under Details, then the pencil button.
Why does a vial need a mix date?+
The mix date sets the default expiration date for a mixed vial. You can still change the expiration date yourself.
Is inventory free?+
Adding new inventory needs Pro. Vials you already added stay visible, so you can still edit or discard them. Tracking up to 2 supplies is free.
