Dose Track saves how you mixed each MOTS-c vial, shows the syringe units for every dose you log, and reminds you on the days your protocol sets. You can pause MOTS-c between blocks and see what is left in the vial at any time.
MOTS-c is a peptide encoded in mitochondrial DNA. It is not FDA approved and research so far is mostly in animals and cells, so there is no label schedule. Log the dose your protocol uses and set the days it calls for, whether daily, set weekdays or every few days.
MOTS-c powder vials range widely: 5 mg, 10 mg or 40 mg. A 40 mg vial mixed with the same water as a 5 mg vial is eight times stronger, so the units for the same dose are very different. Save the vial and water in Dose Track and the units follow.
| Vial | 1 mL water | 2 mL water | 3 mL water |
|---|---|---|---|
| 5 mg vial | 5 mg/mL · 50 mcg per unit | 2.5 mg/mL · 25 mcg per unit | 1.667 mg/mL · 16.667 mcg per unit |
| 10 mg vial | 10 mg/mL · 100 mcg per unit | 5 mg/mL · 50 mcg per unit | 3.333 mg/mL · 33.333 mcg per unit |
| 40 mg vial | 40 mg/mL · 400 mcg per unit | 20 mg/mL · 200 mcg per unit | 13.333 mg/mL · 133.333 mcg per unit |

Each row is something worth writing down for MOTS-c, why it matters for this medicine, and what Dose Track does with it.
| What to track | Why it matters | In Dose Track |
|---|---|---|
| Which vial size | A 40 mg vial is eight times the size of a 5 mg vial, so strengths after mixing differ widely. | Each vial is saved with its size and water; the units follow automatically. |
| Dose | There is no approved dose; log the dose your protocol uses. | The dose and any change from its start date are kept in the log. |
| Days of the week | Protocols differ on how often it is taken. | Pick daily, set weekdays or every N days, with reminders. |
| Breaks | Protocols often run in blocks. | Pause MOTS-c for a set time or until you resume. |
| Vial left | A large vial lasts a long time; knowing the mix date matters. | Mix date, expiry you set, and a count of what is left. |
MOTS-c has no FDA label and no official side-effect list. Dose Track has quick picks for the side effects people on peptides log most: injection-site reaction, tiredness, headache, nausea, flushing and water retention. You can type in anything else and set how bad it was. Each shot can also carry a site reaction (redness, swelling, bruising, a lump or itching), so a sore spot is tied to the site and the vial it came from.
Without a label there is no official rule for a missed MOTS-c dose; your Dose Track log shows the skipped day.
In Dose Track a missed dose stands out in your history, so you can see the gap and count from the right day.
Dose Track is a tracking app, not medical advice. It records what you and your prescriber decide; it does not recommend doses. Check any dose change with your prescriber.
