Dose Track saves the mixing math for each KPV vial and shows the syringe units for every dose you log. If your KPV is part of a blended vial such as KLOW, the blend is logged as one dose and KPV is saved as its own entry.
KPV is a three-amino-acid peptide from the end of alpha-MSH. It is not FDA approved and research is mainly preclinical, so there is no label schedule. Log the dose your protocol uses and set its schedule in Dose Track.
KPV powder vials are usually 5 mg or 10 mg, mixed with bacteriostatic water. KPV also appears in multi-peptide vials, where the mg of each compound on the vial label decides each one's share of a draw.
| Vial | 1 mL water | 2 mL water | 3 mL water |
|---|---|---|---|
| 5 mg vial | 5 mg/mL · 50 mcg per unit | 2.5 mg/mL · 25 mcg per unit | 1.667 mg/mL · 16.667 mcg per unit |
| 10 mg vial | 10 mg/mL · 100 mcg per unit | 5 mg/mL · 50 mcg per unit | 3.333 mg/mL · 33.333 mcg per unit |

Each row is something worth writing down for KPV, why it matters for this medicine, and what Dose Track does with it.
| What to track | Why it matters | In Dose Track |
|---|---|---|
| Single vial or blend | In a blend, one draw holds several compounds at fixed ratios. | Blends log as one dose; each compound, KPV included, is saved as its own dose. |
| Mixing math | The units depend on the vial and the water. | Saved per vial; each logged dose shows mL and units. |
| Dose | There is no approved dose; log the dose your protocol uses. | Kept with each log; changes recorded from their start date. |
| Side effects | With little human data, your own notes are the main record. | Quick picks plus anything you type, with a severity. |
KPV has no FDA label and no official side-effect list. Dose Track has quick picks for the side effects people on peptides log most: injection-site reaction, tiredness, headache, nausea, flushing and water retention. You can type in anything else and set how bad it was. Each shot can also carry a site reaction (redness, swelling, bruising, a lump or itching), so a sore spot is tied to the site and the vial it came from.
KPV has no label, so there is no official missed-dose rule; skipped doses are visible in your history.
In Dose Track a missed dose stands out in your history, so you can see the gap and count from the right day.
Dose Track is a tracking app, not medical advice. It records what you and your prescriber decide; it does not recommend doses. Check any dose change with your prescriber.
