Short answer: Store Egrifta WR 11.6 mg vials at room temperature, 68-77°F (20-25°C), away from light. After mixing, keep the vial at room temperature, not in the fridge, and throw it away 7 days after mixing. Throw away the bacteriostatic water bottle 28 days after first use. Do not freeze. Source: Egrifta WR label, sections 2.2 and 16.
Section 2.2: “Store reconstituted EGRIFTA WR at room temperature at 20°C to 25°C (68°F to 77°F). Discard unused solution of EGRIFTA WR 7 days after mixing. Do not freeze.”
| Item | Storage | Limit |
|---|---|---|
| 11.6 mg vial, unmixed | 68-77°F (20-25°C), in the Medication Box; excursions 59-86°F | Until expiry |
| Mixed vial | 68-77°F (20-25°C); do not refrigerate or freeze | 7 days after mixing (7 daily injections) |
| Bacteriostatic water bottle (30 mL) | 68-77°F (20-25°C), in the Injection Box | 28 days after first use |
The label tells you to, and it is unusual. Most mixed peptides go in the fridge; Egrifta WR is tested and labeled for room temperature after mixing. The Instructions for Use: “Do not freeze or refrigerate EGRIFTA WR after it has been mixed with the Bacteriostatic Water for Injection.”
The Injection Box has a space to record the first-use date of the water bottle, plus a mixing and injection tracker. Dose math is on the tesamorelin page.
The label says do not freeze and do not refrigerate once mixed. It does not address a vial that was; ask your pharmacist. On day 8 the mixed vial is thrown away even if solution remains.
Egrifta WR travels at room temperature, before and after mixing, so no cold packs. Keep it under 77°F (25°C) when you can; the Instructions for Use say keep the mixed vial at room temperature up to 77°F.
