Short answer: Keep Increlex vials in the fridge at 36-46°F (2-8°C), away from direct light, before and after opening. Once you first put a needle in the vial, it is good for 30 days refrigerated; throw away what is left after that. Do not freeze it; if a vial freezes, throw it away. Section 16, before opening: “Vials of INCRELEX are stable when refrigerated at 2° to 8°C (36° to 46°F). Avoid freezing the vials of INCRELEX. Protect from direct light.”
After opening: “Vials of INCRELEX are stable for 30 days after initial vial entry when stored refrigerated at 2° to 8°C (36° to 46°F).” And: “Keep refrigerated and use within 30 days of initial vial entry. Remaining unused material should be discarded.”

No. Increlex is mecasermin, recombinant human IGF-1, approved for severe primary IGF-1 deficiency in children. IGF-1 LR3 is a different, longer-acting analog sold as a research chemical with no FDA label. The Increlex figures above do not apply to it; see the IGF-1 LR3 page and how long mixed peptides last.
Patient Information: “Do not freeze INCRELEX. If a vial freezes, throw it away.” The label gives no room-temperature allowance; ask your pharmacist about a vial that was left out.
Increlex has no room-temperature option, so it travels cold: insulated bag, cold packs that do not touch the vial, and a fridge on arrival.
