Short answer: Store AndroGel and Testim at room temperature, 68-77°F (20-25°C), per their patient leaflets. Section 16 of AndroGel 1.62% and Testim allows excursions to 59-86°F (15-30°C). The gels are alcohol-based and flammable until dry, so avoid fire, flames and smoking until it dries. Throw used pumps, packets and tubes in household trash where children and pets cannot get them.

| AndroGel 1% (pump or packets) | Store at 25°C (77°F); excursions 15-30°C (59-86°F) | Room temperature 68-77°F (20-25°C) |

None of these labels gives a refrigerated option or an in-use period for an opened pump; use it until it is empty or expired.
Yes, until it dries. AndroGel 1.62% section 2: “Avoid fire, flames or smoking until the gel has dried since alcohol based products, including AndroGel 1.62%, are flammable.” Testim section 5.16 says the same. Keep the pump or tubes away from open flames too.
The labels also say to wash your hands after applying and cover the site, because testosterone can transfer to others by skin contact; children have been affected. More on the low testosterone page.
AndroGel section 16: used pumps or packets “should be discarded in household trash in a manner that prevents accidental application or ingestion by children or pets.” The Testim label says the same for tubes, and adds women.
An AndroGel pump must be primed before the first dose by pressing it three times and throwing that gel away (section 2.2). It does not need priming again.
Room-temperature storage makes travel simple; avoid a hot car, since excursions stop at 86°F (30°C). TSA allows medically necessary liquids and gels over 3.4 oz in carry-on bags if you declare them for inspection.
