Short answer: Jatenzo is testosterone undecanoate capsules taken twice daily with food, starting at 237 mg per dose.1 AndroGel 1.62% is a gel applied each morning to the shoulders and upper arms, starting at 40.5 mg.2 AndroGel has a boxed warning about testosterone passing to children through skin contact; the current Jatenzo label has none. Neither label compares the two.

Jatenzo's blood pressure warning is specific: averages rose 4.9/2.5 mm Hg by about 4 months and had not leveled off when the trial ended, and 7.2% of men started or increased blood pressure medicine.1 AndroGel's boxed warning is about children exposed through skin contact, and the gel is flammable until dry.2 Both share the testosterone set: high red blood cells, clots, prostate checks, abuse and lower sperm counts. These numbers come from separate trials with different people, lengths and methods, so they are not a head-to-head comparison.
