Mibolerone is a synthetic anabolic steroid related to nandrolone (7-alpha,17-alpha-dimethyl-19-nortestosterone). In the US it is approved only as a veterinary drug, given by mouth to adult female dogs to prevent heat (Cheque Drops), and never for people.
Also known as: Cheque Drops, Cheque.
FDA's animal drug rules list an oral solution with 100 micrograms of mibolerone per mL and a medicated dog food, both for dogs only. There is no product for people.
FDA's animal drug rules approve mibolerone to prevent estrus (heat) in adult female dogs not meant mainly for breeding, given daily by mouth or in food, and restricted to use by or on the order of a licensed veterinarian. We found no mibolerone product for people in FDA's Drugs@FDA database.
Anabolic steroids are Schedule III controlled substances in the US, and this one is named in the federal list (21 CFR 1308.13(f)). Having it without a valid prescription is illegal. It is on the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) Prohibited List as an anabolic agent, banned in and out of competition.
There is no FDA label for people, so there are no label warnings to quote; the harms below are the ones the cited sources report. We found no human study of mibolerone that we could cite; the published research is in animals and cell lines.
We could not find a published human half-life or time to peak, so we do not list one. Figures quoted online usually come from animal studies or computer models.
