What is trenbolone?

Trenbolone is a synthetic anabolic steroid related to nandrolone (19-nortestosterone). In the US, FDA has approved it only as an ear implant for beef cattle; we found no FDA-approved trenbolone injection for people or animals.

Also known as: Trenbolone acetate, Trenbolone enanthate, Tren.

Common strengths

There is no FDA-approved trenbolone injection, so there is no label strength to quote. Check the strength printed on your vial; the math below uses 100 mg/mL only as an example. Injectable trenbolone is already a liquid, so there is nothing to mix.

Worked example: mg to mL and syringe units

Trenbolone is already a solution, so there is no mixing. The only math is turning an amount in mg into a volume. Here it is at 100 mg/mL for 50 mg.

  1. Volume to draw. 50 mg ÷ 100 mg/mL = 0.5 mL
  2. On a U-100 syringe. 0.5 mL × 100 = 50 units
The amount here is an example to show the math, not a recommendation. How much to take is a decision for you and your prescriber. Check the strength printed on your vial; the same amount is a different volume at a different strength.

Legal status and reported harms

FDA's animal drug rules list trenbolone acetate only as pellets implanted under the skin of the ear in growing beef cattle, alone or combined with estradiol, to improve weight gain and feed efficiency. We found no trenbolone product for people in FDA's Drugs@FDA database.

Anabolic steroids are Schedule III controlled substances in the US, and this one is named in the federal list (21 CFR 1308.13(f)). Having it without a valid prescription is illegal. The DEA definition leaves out steroids approved as implants for cattle, but anyone who prescribes, dispenses or distributes such a steroid for human use is treated as handling a controlled anabolic steroid. It is on the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) Prohibited List as an anabolic agent, banned in and out of competition.

There is no FDA label for people, so there are no label warnings to quote; the harms below are the ones the cited studies report. In the Global Drug Survey 2024, men who had injected trenbolone in the past year reported mood swings, irritability and depressive symptoms, and heart and liver concerns, more often than men who used other anabolic steroids but not trenbolone (Bonenti 2026). In a 2024 survey of 282 men using anabolic steroids, a higher trenbolone dose was linked to more verbal aggression (Piatkowski 2024). Both are self-report surveys, not trials.

Dose Track has trenbolone acetate and trenbolone enanthate as separate built-in compounds, so you can log whichever ester is on your vial.

Trenbolone half-life and time to peak

We found no published study that measured trenbolone acetate or trenbolone enanthate levels in people, so we do not list the app's modeling values (24 hours and 12 hours for the acetate, 6 days and 48 hours for the enanthate). Figures quoted online are not from human studies we could check.

How to track trenbolone in Dose Track

  1. Add trenbolone from the built-in list. It sits next to everything else you take, so a GLP-1, TRT and a few peptides all live in one log.
  2. Save the vial strength (for example 100 mg/mL). Every amount you log then shows in mL and syringe units.
  3. Log each shot. The app subtracts it from the vial, shows what is left, and warns you before you run out.
  4. Set reminders on your own schedule, whether that is daily, weekly or every few days.
  5. Your log is stored on your phone and no account is needed. Data only leaves it for features you choose, like AI answers and lab reading.

Frequently asked questions

How many mL is 50 mg of trenbolone?+
Divide the amount by the strength on the vial. At 100 mg/mL, 50 mg is 0.5 mL. At a different strength the volume changes, so always check the label. The amount is only an example for the math, not a recommendation.
How many units on an insulin syringe is 50 mg of trenbolone?+
On a U-100 insulin syringe, 1 mL is 100 units. At 100 mg/mL, 50 mg is 0.5 mL, which is 50 units. Multiply the mL by 100 to get units.
What is the half-life of trenbolone?+
We found no published study that measured trenbolone acetate or trenbolone enanthate levels in people, so we do not list the app's modeling values (24 hours and 12 hours for the acetate, 6 days and 48 hours for the enanthate). Figures quoted online are not from human studies we could check.
Is trenbolone approved for humans?+
No. In the US, FDA has approved trenbolone acetate only as an ear implant for beef cattle. We found no trenbolone product for people in Drugs@FDA, and it is a Schedule III controlled substance.
What is the difference between trenbolone acetate and enanthate?+
They are the same steroid, trenbolone, attached to different esters. We found no published human study of how long either lasts in the body, so we do not list a half-life for either. Dose Track lists them as separate compounds.
Can I track trenbolone in Dose Track?+
Yes. Trenbolone is built into Dose Track. You can log each shot next to your other compounds, save the vial strength so every amount shows in mL and syringe units, see how much is left in the vial, and get reminders. Your log is stored on your phone and no account is needed. Data only leaves it for features you choose, like AI answers and lab reading.
