Short answer: Store Vivelle-Dot and Minivelle at room temperature, 68-77°F (20-25°C), with excursions allowed to 59-86°F (15-30°C). Do not store patches outside their pouches. Fold a used patch sticky side together, put it in a sturdy child-proof container, and put that in the trash; do not flush it. Sources: both labels, section 16 and patient leaflets.
Both labels have the same section 16.2 wording in substance. Minivelle: “Store at 20°C to 25°C (68°F to 77°F); excursions permitted between 15°C and 30°C (59°F and 86°F) [see USP Controlled Room Temperature] Do not store unpouched.”

Section 16: “To discard, fold the sticky side of the transdermal system together, place it in a sturdy child-proof container, and place this container in the trash. Used transdermal systems should not be flushed in the toilet.” The patient leaflets say the same. Remove the old patch before you apply a new one.

Patches are a room-temperature product, so they need no ice pack. Keep them sealed in their pouches in your carry-on, within 59-86°F (15-30°C), and out of a hot car. Bring a sturdy container if you will need to throw away used patches on the trip.
