Short answer: Store Propecia at room temperature, 59-86°F (15-30°C). Keep the container closed and protect the tablets from moisture. The label also says women who are or may be pregnant should not handle crushed or broken tablets, since finasteride can be absorbed. Whole coated tablets prevent contact. Section 16: women should not handle crushed or broken Propecia tablets when they are pregnant or may be pregnant, because finasteride may be absorbed, with a potential risk to a male fetus. The tablets are coated, which prevents contact with the active ingredient during normal handling as long as they are not broken or crushed. The Patient Information says that if a pregnant woman comes in contact with crushed or broken tablets, wash the area right away with soap and water.
In practice that means storing whole tablets in a closed container and not splitting them where others handle them. See the Propecia dosing schedule and missed a Propecia dose.
