Short answer: Before first use, keep a Gonal-f RFF Redi-ject pen in the fridge at 36-46°F (2-8°C) until it expires, or at room temperature, 68-77°F (20-25°C), for up to 3 months. After the first injection, the pen can stay in the fridge or at 68-77°F for up to 28 days, then it is thrown away. Do not freeze it. Source: Gonal-f label, section 16.2.
Section 16.2, patient storage: “Refrigerate at 2°C to 8°C (36°F to 46°F) until the expiration date, or store at room temperature at 20° to 25°C (68°F to 77°F) for up to three months or until the expiration date, whichever occurs first.” After the first injection: refrigerated or at 68-77°F (20-25°C) for up to 28 days. Keep the cap on to protect from light. Do not freeze. Discard unused material after 28 days.

Section 2.1 says to take the pen out of the fridge at least 30 minutes before use so it warms to room temperature, to avoid the discomfort of a cold injection. The Instructions for Use say to store all pens with the cap attached and away from light.
The pen comes in 300, 450 and 900 International Unit sizes (section 16.1). Gonal-f also comes as a multi-dose vial kit, which has its own separate label. See the Gonal-f dosing schedule, Gonal-f side effects and Menopur vs Gonal-f.
Before first use, Gonal-f can sit at 68-77°F (20-25°C) for up to 3 months, so a short trip at room temperature is within the label. Keep it below 77°F and do not let it freeze against an ice pack.
